What we collect on x-arc.ai, why, and what we do with it.
Who we are
X-ARC is an applied AI research lab operated by Anas Moujahid (3ED FZ-LLC, Dubai, UAE). The site at x-arc.ai is the lab's public surface. Questions about anything on this page reach us at contact@x-arc.ai.
What we collect
One source of personal data: the contact form on the landing page. When you submit it, we collect what you provide (name, email, and the message), plus the browser User-Agent string the form posts alongside it. We do not ask for anything else.
If you write to us directly at contact@x-arc.ai, your message and email address arrive in our inbox under the same terms as any other email.
Why we collect it
The only purpose is to reply to your message and, where relevant, to evaluate whether the lab's work fits what you are running. We do not use the data to profile you, run advertising against it, or build product recommendations.
Where it goes
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard request logs (IP address, request path, response code) are processed by Cloudflare for delivery, security, and reliability. We do not pull those logs into the lab.
Contact-form submissions are posted to a Google Apps Script endpoint that writes a row to a private Google Sheets document and triggers two emails (the founder notification and your confirmation) via Google Workspace. Google processes that data as our sub-processor under their standard terms.
We do not transfer the data to any other party. We do not sell it.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no tracking cookies. The only client-side storage is a localStorage key, x-arc-theme, that remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It is not used for identification.
If you have JavaScript disabled, the site still functions; theme defaults to your operating system preference.
Retention
Contact-form submissions are retained in the Sheet for as long as they are operationally useful for following up. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will remove the row and any related email thread within ten working days.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@x-arc.ai with the request. We respond inside ten working days.
Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California have specific rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, opt-out of sale). We honour all of them. There is no sale to opt out of.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to your local supervisory authority. We would rather you write to us first so we can fix it.
